A skilled in Litigator and Advocate with bias for Civil and Criminal Litigation, Corporate Governance, Arbitration, Policy Strategy, Regulatory Advisory and Approvals and Asset Recovery and Land Law. He manages the firms multifaceted business portfolios and interface with government, corporate and international clientele of the firm. Johnny acts as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary to a few organizations. He also advises, consults and acts as liaison for a few International organizations.
He is a Certified Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, (U.K). An accredited Advanced Management Development Training Consultant with the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Nigeria.
Johnny was appointed a Notary Public for Nigeria in 2013.
Johnny is an active member of his primary constituency and professional body the Nigerian Bar Association and has served meritoriously having held several positions like the Alternate Chairman of the Human Rights Committee 2016 – 2018. Alternate Chairman of the Law Reform Committee 2018 – 2020. Two-term Chairman, Disciplinary Committee (2018 – 2022) and Alternate Secretary, Ethics and Anti-touting Committee (2022 till date).
Johnny was elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in November, 2023 by the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, CJN, which is the highest rant to be attained by a legal practitioner in Nigeria.
Johnny is a member of several professional bodies within Nigeria and overseas.
